Cornet Solo

The origin of this solo dates back to 1962 when it was first titled In My Saviour’s Care. Soon after, however, the music was withdrawn from circulation and discarded. Many years later a copy of the score was found and in 1987 the composer decided to make the present revision. Recollection of bygone days and the solo’s retro air-and-variations form prompted the current, more succinct title.
