Isaac Watts’ hymn paraphrase of Psalm 23 (“My Shepherd will supply my need”) was anonymously wed to an American folk humn tune back in the 1800’s. It has attracted the attention of many composers and arrangers ever since. Noted Australian symphonist Brenton Broadstock’s gorgeous treatment for trombones will be a worthwhile addition to any brass band’s repertoire. (Time 4:00)
