MAY 5-7, 2023 – With UNBOUND being made up of many current and former GNY’rs…having joined them for their 2023 Youth Councils was a blessing. We all made our way to Star Lake Camp for a weekend that was Spirit filled and energetic. Every main session we joined the worship experience with other talent from GNY in a well-blended worship service. A highlight was seeing the winners of the level 4 acoustic guitar, bass guitar and drum set categories from Star Search present the song Always Will! They NAILED it!

We were also blessed to participate in the future leader’s breakfast on Saturday morning, where members Marty Mikles and Martin Rosamilia provided worship and background music for some current and up and coming leaders in the division.
But the highlight of the weekend was certainly Sunday morning. UNBOUND and the Greater New York Youth Band and Chorus combined to lead the congregation in a spectacular blended arrangement of Raise a Hallelujah and Do It Again by bass guitar phenom, Simon Morton. It was beautiful and spiritually impactful.
We’ll have lasting memories from the 2023 GNY Youth Councils. God bless their youth and their dedicated leaders!
